Even about three weeks before I go camping, I already make my camping checklist. This checklist lists all the things I want and need to bring to the campsite. It also lists things I want to do, or places near the site which I want to explore. I rely on this list to make sure I have what is needed. I even bring this list with me when I am already camping.

Of course I have the essentials like my Eureka tents, first aid…. but I also have some things that I like to bring along like power snack bars. I enjoy preparing these and take joy when I shop for my camping things. Though I understand the joy of being spontaneous, it is also advisable that you have a checklist lest you forget to bring something very important.
