My husband and I are planning to throw off a simple party after our eldest daughter won her first ever tournament in golf. We never really expected her to win, much more win the top place since she had just started playing golf a few years ago. We were so happy and proud of our daughter, so I decided to huddle up a few relatives, friends and my daughter’s classmates for the occasion.

Since the place inside the house was a bit small for all the people we were expecting, I went ahead and had my husband set up our screen tents which we keep in store at our basement. This way we can all have fun and not worry about the discomfort of being in the outdoors at all. I am sure that this simple gathering will also serve as a reunion of sorts with family and friends.

My wife has been complaining to me about not having enough time for her and my kids. I know that all these things are true, it is just that I would need to work extra hard if I wanted a promotion and provide them with the things they would need. I know that it would not be for long until I get that much deserved break. All this is after all for them and the future of our kids.

I wanted to ensure I can make up for those times when I have too many things to do at work that I get to come home late at night. Since I would not be able to get out of town, I got a bit creative and set up one of those discount camping stone fire pits I purchased a few days ago from the internet. I also pitched some tents in the backyard and prepared a barbecue for everyone. My wife was touched by the creativeness, and appreciated the effort I had given just to make things work for the family.

My kids got so mad at me when I had to cancel one of our vacations last month. We had already planned to go camping one weekend but I was called the day prior to that to fly out to another town to take care of a few problems which had turned out in one of our production plans. This was totally unforeseen but just the same I understand their sentiments that they already had their minds set for it.

I was sure that this time around I will no longer have to cancel our camping trip anymore. I had to make my secretary clear about the fact that I was not to be disturbed for the weekend. I already have our chinook tents loaded onto the truck, along with some camping stoves and all other essentials we would need. It was a great but short trip that everyone enjoyed so much.

Whenever my kids and I go camping, I always make it a point that they enjoy themselves well. I grew up with a father who also loved the outdoors and taught me how to enjoy myself by being out of the usual comfort zone. I would want to be able to impart the same thing to my kids, and slowly teach them how the outdoors can be so exciting to discover.

The one thing I always bring with us whenever we set out a camping trip is kids sleeping bags. These things are such lifesavers as it provides the extra cushion we need while we sleep inside the tent. It also gives me the peace of mind that my kids would not be too cold at night, as they are wrapped up warmly inside these things.

My friends and I love to take hikes whenever our schedules permit us. Our girlfriends would usually be hesitant to join us, because it can really be tiring and not all ladies can really make it out for hours. This is one of the few things that us boys get to enjoy, without having to worry about anyone or any girl we need to accommodate all the time.

After the long hike, we usually camp out and stay overnight if we have some time to do so. Regardless of the plan, I always make sure I have my stainless steel flasks with me. Of course, the long hike up is always tiring and everyone deserves a little reward afterwards. What is the freedom about when we are not able to drink a little and have fun in the process after a long day of hiking?

After re-evaluating my life at this point in time, I realized that I was no longer happy with my job and I wanted to do something else. That something, I have yet to figure out for myself. Since I have been saving up really well I resigned from my post in the hopes of figuring out what I now wanted to do in order to make me happy.

The first thing that came to my mind is the bucket list I made a few years back when I first saw the movie of the same title. I wanted to be able to go camp on my own for a few days, since I never really went anywhere all by myself. I got my backpack with a few essentials and a portable camping stove to help me stay warm and full at the same time. I have one task done and a few other more to cross off from the list.

My boss finally allowed me to take a week off for a much deserved vacation on my birthday. I have been asking him for the longest time to allow me, but since there are so many deadlines at work and I am the only one he depends on to help him push the team, I would usually not be allowed to go on leaves on short notice. Good thing that I have a valid excuse since I would want to spend some time to celebrate my birthday.

One of the things which I immediately purchased is this Mercury 2 stroke premium outboard motor oil for my boat. I wanted to make sure that everything would work out well on my trip and I would not experience any problems while I sail away in the water. This is something I have long wanted to do, and I am glad that I am finally able to do so.

As always I would usually find ways on how I can bring lesser things during these trips. I remember the last time we all went camping, I had a really bad back all because my backpack was way too heavy for me to bring along.

Since I knew that my friend would already be in charge of bringing one of those 3 room camping tents I was relieved that I no longer need to bring in any excess things which I would not even get to use while I am in the woods. This also us much more convenient to be placed in just one tend instead of pitching in a number of them.

It has been a while since I visited my kids last, after having been busy with a lot of things at work. Two years after our divorce, my wife and I told each other that we needed to allow each one the time to spend with the kids. It seems as if lately I have been missing out on a lot of things. So I called her up and told her that I would be picking up the kids for the weekend.

I planned a camping trip for all three of us – my 2 kids and myself. I wanted to be able to spend time with them without any distractions around us and to enjoy the things we used to do which I am sure they also miss. I got our Stansport tents all ready together with a number of other essentials for the trip. I am hoping that I can make the most out of the time I have with my kids.

Given the highly stressful job that I have to deal with every single day, I try to unwind every weekend as much as I can. I have been feeling really stressed for quite some time now, and without these activities I would end up feeling burned out. If this stays for long I would not be able to survive it out with this type of work environment.

Camping is one of the things which keep me sane. I usually plan these activities out with my friends who are in the same line of work as I am. To make sure that we can fend for ourselves very well, I bring liquid fuels and a portable cooking stove. This allows us to eat right away without having to worry about starting a fire. This goes perfect especially for times when I am too tired after a long day of activities.
