My brother told me that he was coming over for a few weeks to visit, since he needed to fix a few things regarding his business anyway. It has been a long time since he went home, especially since our parents are no longer around and would not have that much reason to come home. I was pretty glad he can find the time to get out, and I was pleased that he is sourcing out suppliers from our town for his business in the city.

He told me that the first thing he wanted to do was to get hunting. Since he lives in the center of the city, he has no way of getting out for hunting during the weekends as conveniently as we used to here at home. I got some new Bushnell rifle scopes to make sure that I have everything I need for the trip. Everything needed to be perfect. After all, the last time we did this together was when we were still in college.

My friends and I love to go camping. It’s one of the treats we give ourselves because we are all busy with work and our families. That’s why the few camping trips we have are very precious. As they say, little trips like that can help you keep sane in a busy life you lead.

But whenever we go camping we make sure that we are all safe. We would like to go back to our busy lives intact and free from injuries. That’s why we always bring at least one emergency backpack during these trips. They are very essential and we need it in case someone gets into an accident. If you are an outdoors type of person, you must have all the gears and tools needed on every trip that you go too. I learned this lesson while I was camping a lot of years back and it was my first time. I didn’t listen to what my friends said and I didn’t bring all the gears and tools they told me to bring. One of the most important one of them is the knife.

It’s such a hassle cutting out stuff outdoors without your own knife. That’s why I bought my very own CRKT Minimalist knife right after that trip. It’s the perfect outdoor knife that is also lightweight and very easy to use. Aside from that, it is surely very durable. Believe me, I had it for years and it’s still in mint condition.

My friends and I love camping and we usually like going to places where we can kayak or swim. It’s really a lot of fun and we are really looking forward to trips like that because we are all very busy people. Work can really be demanding and it can juice out all your energy. That’s why recreational trips like camping are a need for us.

Anyway, since we kayak, it’s really a hassle to bring kayaks wherever we go. It eats up lots of space all the time that’s why we need to bring one extra car just for everything o fit in. Thankfully, my friend introduced us to inflatable kayaks and we can now travel and leave that extra car behind. We have tried them last weekend and they work just like the traditional kayaks.

As an alpine guide, climbing and trekking expeditions can be exciting, and yet risky. The experiences vary from day to day. Dangerous and critical. Especially when I have a number of people who depend on me to get through that exploration.

Planning is critical for any expedition. I must always have my gear in check to ensure safety and defense from possible dangers. Checking my mountaineering kit list and gear assures me that I have everything I need, from clothing, compass, Victorinox knives, water container, harness and karabiner. Every guide has to be prepared for these outdoor pursuits.
