It seems that the more we progress, the smaller things get. I’m talking about technology and other hi-tech gadgets. I remember when cellular phones or mobile phones were first introduced; they were so big and bulky. Today cell phones are the size of pagers! My first laptop weighed a lot that it gave me a back ache. My new laptop now weighs only 5 pounds. Last night, my boyfriend showed me his canister stove – it was so small but it cook practically anything and could be brought anywhere.

My boyfriend had just arrived from a weekend of camping with his buddies. They went to the Rockies for some hiking and camping. He said that they used his canister stove the whole time. They would pack their gear and move from one place to another. It was an annual ritual that they had been doing for five years now.
