When packing for a camping trip, you must not forget the basic equipment that you will need. A camping lantern is one essential tool that shouldn’t be overlooked. There are different kinds of lanterns that you can choose from.

There are electric lanterns, fuel lanterns, led lanterns and candle lanterns that are new to the camping scene. Whatever lantern you buy make sure that you have extra batteries, fuels, mantles or bulbs. When you are using inside your tent, make sure that is battery operated. You don’t want to start a fire when you accidentally bump into your gas lantern. Battery or electric lanterns are much safer and easier to use than fuel lanterns.
