Camping involves a lot of activities. It’s not just pitching a tent in a campsite and roasting marshmallows over the fire. This activity is done in conjunction with other outdoor sports like hiking, mountain biking, hill walking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. These are usually done outside the city, and campers need to prepare the proper camping gear to ensure their safety.
Here are some important camping gears campers need to have with them:
- First-aid kit

- Hammer (to drive tent stakes to the soil)
- Sleeping bag and blankets
- Sleeping pad or air mattress
- Hatchet or axe (for firewood)
